It is a fact that in the search engines today, sites with
reciprocal or links to them, that are relevant and within the theme
of the site rank higher in the Search engines than sites that don't.
Therefore if you are in a competitive search term you will need
external links.
What is PR ?
PR was devised by Google and refers to Page rank. An algorithm
is used to calculate your pages importance based the the other sites
that link to you. This type of setup is now being used by many of
the big search engines.
What is a reciprocal link
?
A reciprocal link is a link to a web site that in turn links back
to you.
What is SEO ?
SEO is the abbreviation for Search Engine Optimization. Sites today
have to look right to the Search Engine with all the relevant links
for them to rank highly.
What is SERP ?
SERP is the abbreviation for Search Engine Result Page. You will
here this talked about often within the SEO community.
What is a themed Link ?
Search engines are now looking for sites within the same theme to
have relevant links. A themed link is one where the site you are
sharing a Reciprocal Link with is within the same theme as your
site, thus meaning they are relevant to each other. There is no
evidence to suggest links with non-themed sites is bad, but there
is evidence to prove themed links have more relevance.
